All students graduating in any given year will automatically move to ANNUAL (one payment) First Year Post Qualify membership in March of the following year (regardless of when they joined or when they paid the last student fee). To pay your fee in monthly instalments, the member must contact the Office Administrator before 1st March.

The current CPD cycle ends on 31st May 2025, when a number of social workers will be called for audit. Those called for audit will use CORU's new Thentia online system to submit their CPD record for audit. 

To support social workers in this process Darlene Doyle, Education Quality Manager at CORU will provide a demonstration of the CPD audit submission via the registrant portal and answer questions from attendees.

Darlene's presentation will be followed by a presentation from Clíona Murphy, Professional Development Coordinator with the IASW who will provide participants with a refresher on the following areas 

  • What is CPD?
  • What does the SWRB Code have to say about it?
  • What support and guidance does the SWRB and CORU offer?
  • Recording your CPD
  • Audit
  • IASW supports to your professional development

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions. Clíona is also interested to hear about the information and supports needed for your professional development. 

Social workers are welcome to attend one or both presentations.
