This video is a call to reflect on racism in social work. Accordingly, we present different statements denouncing racism in social work in all its forms and instead, embracing diversity. Combating Racism is not about looking at the ‘the other’, it is about self-awareness and reflection of our own sometimes unconscious racist biases which can get in the way of effective practice.  We are therefore being reminded in this video to reflect on how we treat those who are racially and ethnically different from ourselves. Racism has no place in social work.  We stand in solidarity with those who experience racism in challenging it in our education, policies, and practice.
