• Description of relevant experience/profile: Over thirty years’ experience as a Principal Social Worker in practice in Ireland and in UK. The integration of theory and reflective practice into Social Work practice remains one of my lifelong interests.
• I have for many years contributed and taught on the BSW Course in UCC. I am experienced in Social Work module development, preparation and delivery and recently has undertaken training on virtual teaching. I am interested in supporting the integration of theory and learning into daily practice
• Working from a systemic perspective, I deliver supportive and comprehensive social work supervision to qualified social workers in diverse settings.

Qualifications:  RGN, RM, CQSW, Dip Family Therapy, LLM (Hons)

Professional registrations:  CORU

Extra skills: Former Member of Family Therapy Association of Ireland.  Active in Community Development and experienced in working at a senior level in both voluntary and statutory services.
