Cancelled An opportunity for Creative Group Supervision:
Starts Saturday 9th February 2019
Adrienne Cassidy, Dramatherapist and social worker, would like to offer social workers an opportunity to engage in creative group supervision for a limited period from February 2019 to July 2019. This offer is open to social workers who are involved in providing group work. The creative group supervision will be conducted on a monthly basis, either on a Saturday morning from 11am-12.45pm at the offices of IASW in St. Andrew’s Resource Centre on Pearse Street, Dublin 2.
Adrienne, a practising Dramatherapist, is currently undertaking a diploma in Creative Supervision, with a focus on Hawkins & Shohets’ Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision. Some of the techniques for creative supervision include using small world objects, sculpting, mandala work, constellation work, EPR and roleplay. As part of this training she is interested in working with two groups of up to 6 social workers involved in facilitating group work, to apply this approach in a group supervision setting.
