The Child and Family Special Interest Group is a group of social work professionals with a particular interest in social work with children and families.
The group is open to any social worker who has this interest but we particularly welcome those working in front line practice statutory social work.
We work to advocate for children and families and take a critical reflective approach to social work practice engaging in issues of structural disadvantage to ensure better outcomes for children and families.
We will be having our AGM on the 22nd of March and will have Dr. Coletta Dalikeni speak following the launch of the Anti-Racism strategy of the IASW.
We welcome participants to nominate themselves for offices of Chair, Secretary and Vice-chair.
Log in details to access the AGM will be sent to those registered before the event takes place.
