About the group:

SWAMH aims to support colleagues, advocate for our profession and service users, promote best practice in the interest of service users through CPD events, sharing information and contributing to national mental health policy and developments.

Meetings:

The role of the committee is to facilitate members to discuss the above issues and to support IASW work/ functions at local level. The group meet approx. 5 times a year with one CPD event per annum. For the coming year, the SIG will be meeting with Zoom, until public health advice allows us to meet in person.

AGM:

The SIG AGM will be held on Tuesday 20th April 2021 @ 1pm via Zoom. The business of the meeting will include electing committee officers and members for the coming year, reviewing the annual report, voting on any proposed motions and informing the members of previous and future activities.

1.10 pm - Chairpersons Report

1.20 pm -Motions arising

1.30 pm - Stand Down of Committee and Election of Chair and Secretary.

1.45 pm - Discussion regarding plans for the year ahead.
