This event sets out to explore the practice of ecosocial work in Ireland. Currently, it can feel like we have glimpses of such practices – this event aims to start building a fuller, shared picture of ecosocial work across Ireland and to build a community of social workers interested in developing their understanding, learning and practice in this area. The event will facilitate participants to make contact and connections with like-minded social workers, to hear about & imagine possibilities for practice and to act together to create the futures we want. Participants will have the option to shape future events and collaborations on this topic.

Social workers Eoin Barry and Mary Hurley will speak at the event followed by breakout rooms and discussion on how we can support ourselves to further develop our understanding and the practice of ecosocial work.
