CPD Accredited Courses are designed for professionals working with children and families following CSA/E, enabling them to feel more confident and competent in their work, and promoting outcomes for children and families.
Working with Families Post CSA/E: aims to enable Professionals understand how a disclosure can impact on a family, as well as the factors and dynamics which can impact on the support afforded to the child and/or the family’s level of engagement with professionals.
Understanding Trauma: is designed to enable busy professionals gain a grounding in and understanding of Trauma. Participants will become familiar with contemporary trauma theories and theorists, and will be able to understand how trauma impacts the brain and understand trauma responses.
CSA/E and their Impact: CSA/E is a difficult area for a lot of professionals and this course is designed to enable them to define CSA/E, the typologies of CSA, signs and impact of CSA/E and understand the nature of CSA/E specific trauma.
