All students graduating in any given year will automatically move to ANNUAL (one payment) First Year Post Qualify membership in March of the following year (regardless of when they joined or when they paid the last student fee). To pay your fee in monthly instalments, the member must contact the Office Administrator before 1st March.

This two day course takes place on Thursday 25th and Friday 26th October 2018

Tea/Coffee & Registration @ 9.30 expect to finish around 16.30. Lunch included. 

 

This two day workshop is for Health and Social Care Professionals who need to know more about the implications of current healthcare legislation for their own practice and, where relevant, for that of their staff.

The course will explore relevant legislation through use of case studies, and reference to current policies/guidelines and their practical application.

Facilitated by LaTouche Training. Some of the key areas to be covered will include:

  • Negligence and Duty of Care
  • Record Keeping
  • Information Governance
  • Data Protection
  • Freedom of Information

  • Best Practice in Report Writing
  • Witness Preparation and Giving Evidence in Courts, Inquests and Professional Conduct Hearings.

 

Health and Social Care Professions participating in this multidisciplinary event are Audiology, Clinical Measurement, Medical Science, Orthoptists, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Radiography, Radiation Therapy, Social Work, Social Care and Speech & and Language therapy.
